I am proud to serve as a member of the Board of Directors of The Arc of Northern Virginia, which serves individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families.

This mission is very important to me.  I have long been involved in working with families (young and old) of individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities.  In my professional life, I meet with many families who strive to meet the needs of a loved one with a disability.  I have always been in awe of the advocacy work, education, and services of The Arc of Northern Virginia and joined their Board to  share some of my experiences and help further their important work for our community.

We are holding our largest fundraising effort on October 22, and I ask you to join us in making this year the most successful in The Arc of Northern Virginia’s 52-year history of serving our community.

I have established a personal fundraising goal of $2,500, and your donation will help me get there!

And --  if you are able -- it would be wonderful to have you with us that night. It will be a fun evening of friends and families committed to furthering our work.  For more information about sponsorship or tickets to the Gala, please visit www.thearcofnova.org/gala.

Please take a moment to read more about The Arc of Northern Virginia below.

Thank you so much for considering a gift to help further our vital work!

I hope you will join my list of supporters listed at the bottom of this page.

We need your help to maintain our highly effective programs and services—long-term planning assistance for families, disability information and referral center, and successful advocacy education efforts. On Saturday, October 22, 2016, The Arc of Northern Virginia will hold its "A Motown Experience" Gala at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner. The Gala will gather 300 people—supporters, local and state legislators, and members of the business community. The evening will feature live music and dancing, as well as both a live and silent auction. And all the money raised will further our important work.
